All packaged freight rates are based on a per-pound cost. A Sterling representative can provide rates to almost any international destination based on weight or measure, whichever is greater. This means you will be charged the greater of either actual weight (how much your shipment actually weighs) or dimensional weight (the size of your shipment converted to pounds). This method of shipping is usually much faster than a padded van move and sometimes it is significantly less expensive. Your Sterling representative can help you work out the most cost effective method of shipping your items.
Sterling Van Lines offers clean, dry, individualized, vaulted storage for your maximum protection in a state of the art security controlled environment. Our storage prices are among the most affordable in Southern California. Storage customers have the benefit of electronic security in a fully insured facility.

We offer insurance coverage spanning from the starting point of your move to the final destination. A representative can help you to decide on the amount of protection you will need, and will explain the price structure for each plan.
We offer real insurance, complete with insurance certificates, for your valuable items or valuation coverage. An account representative will be happy to explain the valuation policy in more detail and answer all your questions.
Wrapping & Packing*
Sterling Van Lines will wrap all of your items securely in clean, protective pads to prevent scratches and other incidental damage before they are moved. This service is part of our standard moving service and is at no extra cost. Packing loose items in boxes with proper protective material and securing the boxes is a packing service that is charged for.
Consumer Alert! Make sure the moving company you choose has not "redefined" the word packing. Some newer moving companies have been known to charge customers for standard blanket wrapping and shrink wrapping that should come as part of your normal service.
